Welcome to the Young Engineers Clubs Scotland
Welcome to the Young Engineers Clubs Scotland initiative official web site. Here you'll find everything you need to know about the Young Engineers Clubs and all of its activities. Young Engineers Clubs Scotland is organised by the Scottish Council for Development and Industry (SCDI), whose purpose is to inspire young people to recognise the importance and excitement of a career in science, engineering and technology.
We have a network of over 250 science, engineering and technology clubs throughout Scotland, with a membership of more than 3,800 girls and boys participating in the Clubs. This site will tell you what Young Engineers Clubs are all about and what they can do for you - whether you're a young person thinking about a career in science, engineering and technology, a teacher looking for resources to promote science engineering and technology, or a company who wants to form positive links with education and invest in the engineers of the future. The aim of this site is to provide up to date information on all of the Young Engineers Clubs activities including club news, competitions, challenges, news and events. The site is updated regularly so keep visiting to make sure you don't miss out on any of the fun and excitement that Young Engineers Clubs can bring you.
