There are currently three main levels of Young Engineers & Science Clubs Scotland  sponsorship:  Lead, Principal Partnership and Associate Partnership
We currently have three Lead Sponsors: Shell, The Lloyd's Register Educational Trust and Tomorrow's Engineers.  Principal Partners are: BP, BT, National Grid, OPITO and STEM North of Scotland.  Associate Partners are: Balmoral Group, Chevron, ECITB, the Institute of Physics, the IET, LifeScan, Morrison Construction, ScottishPower Renewables, Scottish Natural Heritage, Selex Galileo, Skills Development Scotland, The Scottish Oil Club, Total, Weir, Wood Group and Wood Group PSN.
Young Engineers & Science Clubs Scotland is keen to hear from potential partners interested in Principal or Associate Partnership, as well as companies wishing to form an alliance with others from similar disciplines (civil and construction engineering for example) in order to host a discipline-specific challenge.

Provide in-kind support

Young Engineers & Science Clubs Scotland is always seeking new sponsors/providers of materials and resources, whether this is in the provision of raw materials to schools or facilitating visits from Clubs to tour your premises.

Release staff

The most successful individual Young Engineers & Science Clubs Scotland have links to local engineering companies.

As well as often supplying modest, but crucial financial support to individual clubs, these companies often form relationships with the clubs.  Link engineers, attending club sessions regularly, or when required for trouble-shooting, are an important link for clubs to the engineering community and allow them to form relationships with actual engineers and learn about what they do.  Club visits to company premises also increase students’ awareness of the profession.  Companies can become involved directly with clubs in their area, or sign up to the STEMNET STEM Ambassador scheme.

Such in-kind support is already being provided to Young Engineers and Science Clubs by Lifescan Scotland, SELEX Galileo, OPITO and Morrison Construction.
