Celebration of Engineering 2007

The 2007 Celebration of Engineering was held on Friday 22 June at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and the Glasgow Science Centre.  This was an exciting opportunity for 42 Young Engineers Clubs to showcase their activities, compete for the title “Scottish Young Engineers Club of the Year 2007” and take part in an exciting series of three minute technology challenges set by 25 SCDI member companies. The Scottish Finals of the Young Engineers for Britain also took place.  Nearly 600 young engineers, teachers and companies attended the action-packed day which concluded with a Science Show and awards ceremony at the Glasgow Science Centre’s IMAX Theatre.

Take a look at this short film clip which shows the action on the day
