  DIARY DATE!!! - Celebration of Engineering 2011 - Friday 10 June 2010
   
  The 2010 Celebration of Engineering & Science will be held on Friday 10 June 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Glasgow Science Centre.
   
 

It was a wonderful event for the children who were inspired by the whole experience.  When I asked the children (3 girls and a boy) what they thought of the day, they said one word. "awesome!"  Couldn't have put it better myself!

Meet a Moonwalker in Glasgow - 9/10 September 2010

You are invited to meet only one of 12 men ever to have walked on the moon at two events in Glasgow.

First Lego League Challenge 2010 - 7/8 December 2010

Can FIRST® LEGO® League Teams improve our quality of life? Through the 2010 Body Forward Challenge, 9 to 16 year olds will explore the cutting-edge world of Biomedical Engineering to discover innovative ways to repair injuries, overcome genetic predispositions, and maximise the body's potential, with the intended purpose of leading happier and healthier lives.

 

As part of the challenge teams will:

Program a robot to complete tasks relating to the Challenge using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® technology.          Research and prepare a presentation on the annual theme

 

Scottish Tournament to be held in Edinburgh on December 7/8.
