F1 in Schools Challenge is a competition, open to all UK based secondary schools, colleges and (organised) youth groups, to design and manufacture CO2 powered model racing cars (dragsters).
Student teams compete against each other in a national championship to determine the fastest car and best engineered car in the UK. It's just like being in a real Formula One team.
The Challenge is run by F1 in Schools Limited a non-profit making organisation with backing from our sponsors and partners

Rampaging Chariots is a serious engineering project aimed at interesting and encouraging young people into engineering. The project involves them in an exciting social and technology learning project to construct radio controlled sporting robots to compete in a National competition which took place on 14 June 2008 at Selex, Crewe Toll, Edinburgh.

Young Engineer for Britain (age 11-18)
The Young Engineer for Britain Competition is a national celebration of the best creative projects in the country from students aged 11 - 18 years old. It provides both a regional and national showcase for engineering, technology and design achievement.
Young Engineers challenges students to use their imagination to create, design and develop an original idea for a commercially viable device or system that meets a useful everyday need they have identified.
This competition considers solutions using any engineering discipline and is open to individuals and teams of students.

The Arkwright Scholarships Trust
